Hippie In Heels

By The Indie Mag | Article, Uncategorized | 2 comments | 27 July, 2017 | 5

the indie magMeet Mindy, she is a mom entrepreneur and fashion guru. We asked her to tell us about some cool local Las Vegas fashion and other indie designer brands we should know about. She is also known as Hippie In Heels. Lets see what she has to say:

Mindy here, so what’s one of your favorite things about concerts? For me it’s not only the epic music, (because let’s face it I am not going to a shity concert), but it’s the fans and their outfits! Yea, well I do love people watching so this helps. I just dig seeing all the rocker tees, denim shorts and funky shoes. I also love seeing the commitment reggae fans have, country fans have, really just any genre. They all seem to have some type of “look”. That to me is really cool to see, it’s about how creative and committed fans can be. There is a level of epic funk that everyone attending puts into their outfit. Besides we all Rock stars start and carry on some of the most memorable trends.

Have you seen the amazing guitar straps that luxury brands started using on their bags? Whatttt!  I personally am obsessed with anything vintage and re-purposed so with my love for music and my love to be funky AF, this trend is right up my alley! A As a matter of fact, we have here in Las Vegas two cool chics who started their own company. Not only are they using vintage guitar and leather belts as straps, but also having the brilliant idea of taking old luxury brand handbags and breathing new cheeky life into them. s a matter of fact, we have here in Las Vegas two cool chics who started their own company. New Vintage Handbags is also bringing funk and personality to bags that would otherwise sit around and have zero love. They are doing this now to wallets and cell phone cases too! Whatever your personality or music genre love, New Vintage Handbags has a badass bag for you and your beautiful life. Oh and get this, their straps, Tassels and Trinkets are all interchangeable!  What!! Now that’s smart and we all know I love smart!!! So, now you know a trend that you can finally use that old guitar strap for or a badass way to pull that old Louis out of storage.  Either way enjoy showing your personality and be you, be bold and just be badass!
