(LOS ANGELES, CA) – April 12, 2019 – Snowball ii released their dynamic new EP Eaton Super 10 this morning on most streaming sources including Bandcamp, Spotify and Apple Music. The notable LA indie/shoegaze group will be hosting an EP release show and gallery on May 4th at Resident in downtown Los Angeles, featuring support from comedian Neil Hamburger, music by Jason Lerman, Mambo Jumbo Jazz Combo and an art installation by Katbing.
Released via Doughnut Records, Eaton Super 10 (ESX) marks the fourth installment in the ongoing adventures of Snowball ii and was written, produced and mixed by group vocalist, songwriter and guitarist Jackson Wargo. The band also announced a special vinyl release of ESX that will be posted online for pre-order later in April. Since the band’s inception, Wargo has continued to craft a unique brand of shoegaze laced with indie rock and power pop that has impressed media outlets including New Noise, Grimy Goods, Buzzbands.la, Grimy Goods and It’s Psychedelic Baby.
Snowball ii recently unveiled their first single off of Eaton Super 10, “Lost In Juarez,” which will see a music video released this Spring. The clip is available online and premiered last week via The Big Takeover.
Wargo also brought Annie Hardy (Giant Drag, Deftones) into the studio to sing backing vocals on ESX and also directed the upcoming official music video for “Lost in Juarez.” World renowned artist Stephen “ESPO” Powers (David Byrne, Kurt Vile) spray painted the EP’s cover art on a wall in downtown Philadelphia. Eaton Super 10 was mastered by TW Walsh (Pedro the Lion, The Shins, Sufjan Stevens).

Karma Supra simply put is a celebration of life, beauty, and body.
The scope of this event is to observe and spotlight those individuals who express their creativity using the body as a canvas, and also feature local individuals and companies that focus on wellness of body and mind.
In a predominantly tech-based economy such as this, arts and culture is being extracted from the city at a seemingly unstoppable rate. Likewise, sound body and mind is also becoming increasingly difficult to achieve in the chaos of everyday life. We are attempting to present an unforgettable, immersive, and perhaps even a little tastefully sexy avenue of expression to actually bring awareness and longevity to a generally under-represented and uncelebrated local arts community of skilled body painters, henna tattoo artists, traditional tattoo artists, make-up artists, piercers, performance artists, local skin care companies, emerging musicians / DJs, and many other art forms. We hope by providing a judgment -free, supportive space for artists to express themselves, coupled with a fun and unique platform for the public to integrate with the arts community and wellness companies -we will achieve a memorable and immersive experience for everyone involved. After 5 years of directing massive nationwide art shows, it has become apparent to myself and many others that there is huge interest and fascination around body art and body-as-a-canvas community. We aim to recognize and empower this community.
Why this event?
Seattle is the flagship for this highly attractive and scalable event.
In the years of producing and attending local and national art events, we noticed a trend in the fragmentation of certain artistic genres, and the struggle many artists of this category face in getting their name and talent recognized. The interest around this concept has already been proven, but never been executed. There is obvious culture, lifestyle, and commerce within these communities, but never before all brought together in the same way. The purpose of this event is to shine a spotlight on the artists that continue to beautify our world, while attempting to bridge the gap between these beautifully talented artists & wellness professionals, -and unify them under the same roof with eager patrons and buyers through a positive environment of expression and entertainment.
Who are we?

His extensive background in event production spans all the way back to 2007 with leadership experience from art gallery Preparator and Curator in New York City & San Francisco, – to West Coast regional Art Event Director as he has traveled the entire country producing and directing a massively successful pop-up style art show called Pancakes and Booze.
